Our main office at 109 Urban Avenue in Westbury serves Nassau & Suffolk Counties. This office anchors the entire Tri-State Area operation. This is where our bench technicians and central parts inventory are based. Why Five Offices Matters

Most lab equipment service companies operate from a single central location. They drive technicians out to your facility when something breaks. That model works until it doesn’t. For instance, when a ULT freezer goes down at 4 PM on a Friday and the closest technician is three hours away in another state.

Cryostar’s coverage model is different, and it’s a deliberate choice. Five physical service offices across three states means:

  • Local parts inventory. Common replacement parts like compressors, fan motors, gasket seals, control boards, sensors are stocked at multiple locations and in service vehicles based out of each office. When a part is needed, it’s usually already in the region, not shipping overnight from a central warehouse.
  • Technicians who know the buildings. NYC hospital loading docks, university building access protocols, COI requirements, hospital freight elevators at Northwell and Nuvance facilities. Our regional technicians have been navigating these for years. That’s not something a dispatched-from-out-of-state technician can match.
  • Hours-not-days response times. Most non-emergency dispatches from a regional office arrive on-site the same business day. Emergency calls are usually on-site within 1-4 hours depending on region.
  • Local relationships. Each office builds long-term relationships with the labs, hospitals, and research institutions in its coverage area. That means your service history follows you. The technician who worked on your CO2 incubator last year is usually the same one who shows up this year.
